PHYSICALS:  In accordance with New York State regulations, student physical examinations are required for all students in grades K, 1,3, 5, 7, 9 and 11, as well as all new students.  When you take your child for their annual wellness check-up, please ensure that you and your pediatrician are completing/submitting the NYSED form to the school nurse: School Health Examination Form 

Technology Issues:  Please turn Chromebooks on and do any updates that are prompted.  If you have issues with your Chromebook that you cannot troubleshoot from home, please fill out our student service desk form at https://lhric.service-now.com/student.  If you are having trouble that is not device related, please contact the main office at 845-620-3850.

  • 2024-25 School Budget Vote & BOE Election 5/21/24

    Our annual School Budget Vote and Board of Education election will be held on Tuesday, May 21st from 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM.  All voting takes place at Pearl River High School's Pirate Cove located at 275 East Central Avenue.  For more election information and BOE candidate profiles, please visit our School Budget Vote 2024-25.

  • 29th Annual Deja Vu Senior Citizens' Dance 4/13/24

    Our 29th Annual Deja Vu Dance for senior citizens residing in Pearl River School District will be held this year on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM in PRHS's gymnasium. 

    Registration is absolutely required by Thursday, March 28th!  You can register via one of two ways:

    (1) Complete the online form:  Deja Vu Registration 2024  OR

    (2) Print out the attached registration form and give to your PR Club president or drop off at our District Administration Building located at 135 W. Crooked Hill Rd.

  • 2024-25 District Calendar Approved 2/27/24

    At their February 27th meeting, the Board of Education approved the 2024-25 District Calendar. Two Superintendent's Conference Days are scheduled for Wednesday, August 28th and Thursday, August 29th.  The first day of school for students will be Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The Pearl River School District calendar is based on 184 school days: 181 days of pupil instruction plus 3 Superintendent's Conference/Professional Development Days. In anticipation of emergency closings, we designate the following potential vacation days as snow make-up days: 

    2024-25 Snow Make-up Days
    Day 1 – May 27, 2025
    Day 2 – May 23, 2025
    Day 3 – April 21, 2025

    As a result of the NYS Regents examination schedule, the last day of school will be Thursday, June 26, 2025.

  • COVID-19 At-Home Tests & CDC Guidelines

    Pearl River School District no longer has access to at-home test kits that we can supply to our parents. However, the federal government has made additional COVID tests available directly to families - please visit https://www.covid.gov/tests for more details. There are also CDC Guidelines posted for those individuals who are sick with COVID or are suffering with COVID-like symptoms.
